Position: Designer, Developer
Objective: to develop a visually interesting layout for the CSS Zen Garden using their html. The catch to this project is that you are not allowed to change any of the original html file, but only re-design the site through CSS.
Result: I came up with a visually appealing design by using only CSS. I went an extra step on this website and added in some interactivity with the fish that move on the screen as the users scrolls up and down, and left and right.
Position: Designer, Developer

Objective: to create a poster for our favorite musician/band by utilizing the typography skills we had learned from the class.
Result: for this poster I ended up following the swiss typography style which utilizes the grid system. This poster ended up being very tight and crisp photographically and typographically.
Position: Designer
Objective: to use create a public service announcement poster for a non-profit organization using the grid system.
Result: a visually striking poster with strong typography. I used a large, bold font to subtly represent the size and power of a whale. I then placed two smaller paragraphs with the organizations mission statement to represent two fish swimming underneath.
Position: Designer
Objective: to create a poster that shows a message through text and photography.
Result: a strong image using a combination of text and photography to convey the message that technology and evolution of our society is killing the world.
Position: Designer, Developer
Objective: to code a flash application for a user to be able to paint on screen.
Result: I ended up coding out the functionality of the website so that you can paint using different colors and sizes. To add to this project I added an image from the movie "Inception" for people to color on.
Hi, my name is Taylor and I design websites with the latest web standards for clients, friends, family. I get great satisfaction from making creative and intuitive user experiences for the web.
I like working on freelance projects, but also enjoy collaborating on projects with other designers and coworkers to produce the best possible product. I am easy to get along with and opened minded when working with clients and know that good communication is key to completing a successful project.
I enjoy working on front end design for websites including using XHTML and CSS3 and am also proficient in the basics of other coding languages. I also work on graphic design projects that include logo design to building a company identity.
I currently live in right outside of downtown of San Jose. A lot of my time is spent in San Francisco where I am finishing up my Associates of Science degree at The Art Institute of California - San Francisco. I will be graduating this winter with a degree in Web Design and Interactive Media. I plan on taking more web based classes after I graduate to improve on the skills I already possess.
I have always been an entrepreneur at heart and am constantly learning so that I can pass on my new skills to my clients projects. Keeping up with the newest trends in web design as well as the code behind it allows me to remain innovative and fresh.
